Light
Swiss Cheese Philodendrons can adjust to most lighting conditions. Although they prefer bright, indirect light, they can also adapt to low light conditions. If keeping your plant in low light, it may not develop holes as the leaves grow.
Keep your plant out of direct sunlight. The leaves will burn easily. If moving your plant outdoors for the summer, keep it in a shady location.
Water
Swiss Cheese Philodendron likes to dry out a bit between waterings. Give it a drink when the top 50% of the soil is dry. Water thoroughly and remove any standing water from the saucer below your plant.
Fertilizer
Use a balanced liquid fertilizer monthly during Spring and Summer. Swiss Cheese Philodendrons aren’t heavy feeders, so you can even reduce feedings to every other month.
