With the cold weather settling in, we are all spending more and more time indoors. It’s easy to go a little stir crazy during the chilly winter days. We have some ways to cure cabin fever and have you dreaming about spring.
Become a Plant Parent
Humans have a basic instinct to care for other living things. Watching our plants grow and thrive is rewarding and makes us feel a sense of pride. When just starting off, choose a plant with low light requirements and minimal care needs. This will increase your chances of success while you learn the ropes. In turn, this will give you the confidence to experiment with different plants.
Know that caring for plants is as much an art form as it is a science. There are many factors that go into providing adequate care for your plants. Things from lighting, air moisture and temperature in your home can directly impact your plants’ well-being. So experiment with different watering schedules or locations in your home to see what makes your plant the happiest.

Keeping fresh flowers in your home has been proven to increase productivity, balance your mood, and lower your stress levels. Studies have found that giving flowers to someone can also spike dopamine and serotonin levels, making it just as beneficial to give as it is to receive.
