Light
Aloe Plants prefer bright indirect light. Placing them within a few feet of a window is ideal, although they can survive in medium lighting conditions they tend to get leggy.
Water
Aloe plants are succulents, meaning they don’t require a lot in the way of water. You may find smaller plants require water more often than larger plants. Allow the soil to dry out completely before watering. Make sure the water runs through the bottom of the pot to get all the roots.
Fertilizer
Aloe Vera is not a heavy feeder. Fertilize once a month during the spring and summer with a 1/2 strength house plant fertilizer.
