Tips for Controlling Mosquitoes
Take back your yard this summer and tell mosquitos to bug off! English Gardens offers tips to keep these pesky insects away from your yard.
Prevention
Mosquitoes are attracted to water and bright lights. Both male and female mosquitoes need water for hydration, and the female needs water to deposit her eggs. Eliminate or reduce the amount of standing water, where mosquitoes breed. If you have a pond or fountain, try Mosquito Dunks. They’ll kill mosquito larvae before they hatch.
Treat the Area
English Gardens offers several options to treat your yard. Our best-selling item, Mosquito Barrier Liquid Garlic Spray is made from 100% garlic oil. One application can protect your yard up to six weeks and your lawn up to two weeks. Use it on anything green, including your vegetable garden. Follow manufacturer’s instructions for best results.
