Staff Picks: A Few of our Favorite Orchids
During our 15th Annual Orchid Festival, Associates from our Ann Arbor store posed with their favorite orchid plants.
Left: Greg Pizzino poses with the delicately-bloomed Oncidium, also known as the “Dancing Lady.” Top right: Carol Cordell poses with one of the many species of Dendrobium. Bottom right: Kim Milewski poses with Cattleya, which is often used as a corsage due to its big beautiful flowers and long-lasting blooms.
Left: Melissa Morgan poses with a Paphiopedilum, better known as the “Lady Slipper.” Right: Karen Carducci poses with the “Moth Orchid,” Phalaenopsis.
Josh Ward (top left), Carolyn Kirch (bottom left) and Erin Graebert (right) each pose with a different Phalaenopsis, giving proof that this flower, which is well suited for home growing, is America’s favorite orchid.
Thanks to our Associates for sharing their favorite orchids!
