Light
Pileas prefer medium to bright light. Although they can adjust to lower lighting conditions, it will start to get leggy and produce fewer leaves.
The leaves are sensitive to direct light and will burn with too much exposure.
Water
Water your Pilea when the top 75% of the soil is dry to the touch before giving it a thorough drink, making sure water runs through the bottom of the pot. If you notice the leaves start to droop it is time to water.
Fertilizer
Give your Pilea a boost during the Spring and Summer by feeding it monthly with an all-purpose, balanced house plant food. Hold off on fertilizing during the Fall and Winter when growth has slowed.
