Light
Majesty Palms need as much light as possible without getting direct sunlight. Four to six hours of bright, indirect light a day is best. Keeping them near a sunny door wall or window will have them thriving.
Majesty Palms can adjust to medium lighting conditions if kept 3 to 5 feet from a large window, but will not do well in dark corners or hallways.
Water
Monitor the soil moisture of your Majesty Palm often. These plants prefer to stay moist so a light watering more often is beneficial. Be sure to empty the saucer below your plant of any excess water to prevent the roots from getting waterlogged.
Fertilizer
Majesty Palms are slow-growing indoor plants, averaging roughly a foot a year in ideal conditions, so they don’t require much extra food. Use a quarter-strength liquid house plant fertilizer twice a year during the growing season.
