The most important aspect of Ivy Plant care is providing adequate light. Most Ivy varieties prefer bright, indirect light. Some varieties can handle medium lighting conditions, but heavily variegated varieties will start to lose their variegation if not given enough light.
Ivy likes to dry out slightly before watering. Once the soil is dry to the touch, you can give it a good drink.
Fertilize your Ivy monthly in the Spring, Summer and Fall with a water soluble plant food. Hold off on fertilizing during the winter.
