Light
Dieffenbachia can handle lower lighting conditions, but medium to bright, indirect light is best. If in a darker location, like a windowless office, consider a grow bulb. This will provide adequate light for your Dieffenbachia to thrive.
Water
While relatively easy to care for, Dieffenbachias are a bit picky on their watering needs. Unlike most plants, do not soak your Dieffenbahcia. You want to provide light waterings regularly.
Pro-tip
Dieffenbachia plants require warmer temperatures. Place yours in an area where temperatures don’t drop too low to keep them thriving.
Water your plant, and then allow to dry out before watering again. They are highly sensitive to standing water, so be sure to empty any water accumulation below the plant after each watering.
Fertilizer
Feed your Dieffenbachia Plant with a half-strength fertilizer monthly, Spring through Summer. Do not fertilize during the Fall and Winter.
