The key to successful container garden is selecting the best container. Plants need proper drainage, therefore it is essential to choose containers that have a hole on the bottom. Excess water needs to flow through the plant rather than accumulate at the bottom of the container.
Selecting the perfect soil is the next stop. For best results, use the Miracle-Gro Moisture Control Potting Soil. Avoid using garden soil or top soil as it is too heavy.
Before you place the soil into your container, insert an Ups-A-Daisy. This will help lighten the amount of soil you add to deep pots, making it easier to move around.
Water your container garden frequently for best results. Amendments, such as Soil Moist, will help retain moisture.
