Darrell’s Garden Salsa
Ingredients:
- 4 to 5 ripe tomatoes, diced
- 1 to 2 small onions, diced
- 2 cloves of garlic, chopped
- 2 jalapeno peppers, sliced and chopped, with seeds. Remove seeds for milder temperature.
- 2 mild banana peppers, chopped
- 1 Tablespoon olive oil
- 2 Tablespoons Red Wine Vinegar
Directions:
Combine all ingredients in glass bowl. Serve immediately with tortilla chips or your favorite Mexican recipe.
May be kept in the refrigerator for a few days in a sealed container.
OPTIONS: Substitute other peppers, like green, red or hot banana for a different flavor. Add lime juice instead of
the Red Wine Vinegar. Add 2 Tablespoons of chopped cilantro.
